About us

The Smugglers Inn is in an unrivalled position, in the heart of Milford on Sea, and only a stones throw from the beautiful beaches with views of the Needles and the Isle of Wight.

Whether you’ve just finished one of the many walks that run from the pub, spent the day on the beach, or the afternoon walking around the village, The Smugglers is the ideal resting place. There’s lots of comfy seating, rustic tables & chairs, a restaurant, large garden, stream and a great play area. Oh, and of course great food, beer & wine. We both had Sunday roast pork. Excellent service, generous portions, proper amount of gravy, delicious crunchy crackling. What more could you want Gratifyingly reasonably priced in these tough, inflationary times.

Visiting friends in the area who recommended the Smugglers Inn so we visited on the Saturday for lunch and I had their homemade chicken ham pie with chips which was very tasteful and good portion. Freinds had the baguettes and chips which were very nice. We booked the next day for Sunday lunch which again was fantastic with good portion.

The beer garden is large, caters for children with a play area and the whole venue is dog friendly. Suzy and her husband run a slick operation and are supported by very friendly and efficient staff, who all make you feel welcome. The food is well prepared and presented. There is a large car park on site, with spacious spaces. We highly recommend a visit to this venue.
